“Our World: Medicine” is a project wherein health based nonprofits, hospitals, research labs, and medics interact, communicate, and collaborate.
The medical members include doctors, nurses, paramedics, scientific researchers, medical students, et cetera. Project Peace For All’s “Our World: Medicine” will attempt to heal and help Project Peace For All’s members who are suffering from: a) War b) Poverty c) Illnesses d) Injustice (e.g. domestic violence). Members who are in need of medical attention will contact Project Peace For All via telephone, email, or mail. Then, Project Peace For All will contact the medical based nonprofits, hospitals, research labs, and medics to see how each and every patient can be helped. Note: A reporter from “Everyday Heroes” will write an article about each patient and who helped him or her. Project Peace For All will pay for the expenses of the patients who experience undue financial hardship. If the patients can pay for the expenses but are in need of a specialized surgery then Project Peace For All will find the specific surgeon and send him or her to the specific patient. If the patient is healthy enough to travel then the patient will be sent to the hospital wherein the specialized surgeon works. If the members who experience undue financial hardship are healthy enough to travel, Project Peace For All will fund the expenses of travel. If the members who experience undue financial hardship are not healthy enough to travel, Project Peace For All will send a team of: a. Doctors and nurses. b. Medical researchers (to see the number of other patients who are in need of medical attention in the community). c. A reporter from “Everyday Heroes” to report the work of the incredible team and the patients they saved (or attempted to save). d. A few ex-trained soldiers just in case the patients are in a dangerous setting (e.g. Darfur). Note: Project Peace For All believes in nonviolence hence the ex-trained soldiers will in not under any circumstance fire their guns unless Project Peace For All’s members are in direct danger. Project Peace For All understands that there are many people who do not have an internet connection and hence are not members of Project Peace For All. Therefore, if Project Peace For All is contacted for medical purposes Project Peace For All will treat that person as though they were members and will ask them to be members after they are helped (e.g. a patient from the West Bank).
